I am a nationally certified Recovery Coach through The Addictions Academy. Addiction is a disease and needs to be treated as such. A well- rounded NOWcovery program consists of many factors. It's not a one-size-fits-all answer. I can help you maneuver your path to NOWcovery, and determine what components need to be in place for you to be successful in overcoming your addiction. I believe that education followed by action is the key to living a life free from addiction. Building yourself an army of supporters increases your chance of success. I can be one of those supporters. We can't do it alone. NOWCOVERY happens a moment at a time!
I have experience helping people who are incarcerated get their footing with sobriety before they are released. I work with clients after release to help them keep their focus, set goals, and remain positive while maneuvering reentry. My experience with recovery coaching for Drug Court participants of Kenosha County, and being an educator for Kenosha County Detention center has given me an insight to the challenges faced by clients who are trying to overcome their addiction while overcoming their legal difficulties.
